Today, I walked up part of the Bruce radial trail and on the way down I did
what I have been planning for a while. I 'shuffled' which is my
massively overweight form of learning to run. I set a goal for myself to
be able to 'run' a kilometre without stopping. I am using a short
stride and minimal impact. I primarily want to do this because I never
want to be so far behind a pace time that the race shuts down on me
again. My sciatic nerve is really killing me and my asthma has actually
become a problem since I started to exercise, so I am getting the
medical help I need for them. I am hoping to walk or walk /run a
minimum of 1/2 hour a day about 5 days a week punctuated by longer
walks.
In other goals, owning Sassafras as a walk , and the radial trail at a walk. Going swimming tonight!
